Default kickstand

I have a 96 Fatboy and need to change the kickstand to the right side or get one that is electric. My leg leg has a steel rod in it so I cannot bend at the knee at all. If anyone has an answer for this I would appreciate it.

Good luck with that project. Hope it works for you. Just might be time to start thinking trike. I'd fall over in a minute when I forgot what side that stand was on.

This website has some links to people that might be able to help out.

or check out this little video on YouTube, just what you are looking for:

YouTube - Bost Harley-Davidson automatic kickstand

Here is a custom automatic kickstand / jiffy stand that was built at Bost Harley-Davison in Nashville, TN. We had a customer with a prosthetic leg that needed some assistance in kickstand movement, so we cured it. Works awesome!

Here is the link to their website: http://www.bosthd.com/

This is cool...kinda like a landing gear!
Good for slow and tight space maneuvering.

s dees,

Something like this migh work for you if your left knee doesn't bend.
Kinda like a stirrup.
Doesn't look too hard or costly to fabricate.
