Ape Question

I have the black Harley 16 Apes on my Fatboy Lo. It includes a 4 riser. All of the cabling is done. I love these Apes. Well I did. After brosing through the forums tonight, I saw the Carlini Gangsters, and now I think the Harley ones look like ***. With the 16 apes and the 4 inch riser, does that make it like I have 20 apes? If that is the case, I would rather go with 18 Gangsters with Carlinis riser. Would my cabling work for the carlinis? Length? Thanks for the input.

18" apes with a 2" or shorter riser should work. I heard the carlini apes are a little taller then what the mfg says they are.

You may need to measure your bars. I thought the Harley 16" apes were actually 12" with the 4" riser....for a total height of 16"

Good question Dude. I am in the process of trying to figure out if I am going with apes or a beach bar and I am finding out I am not well enough informed about either to make a good sound decision! I am curious to read all the replies too.
