Default Thinking it is time to change bars..

The last few times I have risen the bike I have been having problems with my hands going numb and shoulders staying tight and cramping up.. So really on the fence on putting the complete bars up for sale.. Now since the apes are getting so popular around here I am thinking of making my own set of beach bars out of 1 1/2" DOM tubing.. Because I have not found a set I like. I like the burley bars but they are stepped 1 1/4" bars.. Now of coarse I will change the headlight to the nacelle style and riser cover to give it a clean look along with all internal wiring, brake lines, and throttle cable.. What do you boys think?

I like the look of both Apes & Beach bars, but think apes suit the lowered, 21" front look better, while Beach bars suit the standard ride height with 16" front better?
But if your saying your having comfort issues with your apes, then suppose your body is already making your choice?

Sorry to hear about the body issues with your bars, man. The beach bars/nacelle will look good on your ride too tho!

I'll tell you, after seeing your ryde with soo many trophies next to her, it's kinda difficult to see her with any different set-up.. But I do love the feel of my beach bars. I came from years of being a knee-dragger and when it comes to flicking in the turns, I couldn't imagine any other bars!
And way comfortable.

..... Well, I do imagine apes, but I'll leave that for my next ryde.

I am going to try to go to the doctor and see if I have some body problems. But I have been hitting the weights real hard for the last few months and I am thinking that has caused an issue.. It all depends on if I can get my bars sold for a decent price.. I spent a lot of money and time on them to just let them go.. But rather see them on a fellow forum member's ride..

I think your so close to being "done" that you are panicking, lol. I think a guy in the classifieds Has a set of 1.5" bb for sale.

21 and nacelle are my next mods, but I have considered beach bars. They would look great!

Carlini used to make 1 1/2 set of beach bars but they no longer make them, you might could find a set online somewhere.
