Great day for riding today. When I got back, did the once-over check and saw something I didnt notice on the pre-ride check.
A dangling wire with a harness/plug at the end of it. This is behind my air cleaner cover. Has a threaded plastic dowel attached to it, so I'm thinking it just popped out of whatever hole it was plugged into. Can't seem to find this hole though.... Ill take the cleaner cover off this weekend and I'm sure it'll be visible.
Any thoughts?
This is a harley se stage one air cleaner kit. also has a fuel pak but pretty sure that was mounted against the rear fender/under the seat.
That is the AAC hook up for export models. US bikes dont come with active air control. There is also a plug somewhere by the tras frame for the exoust control
there are a lot of threads on this, it is a plug thats used on export bikes it was attached to the backing plate of the stock backing plate the SE plate doesnot have a spot for it, just tie it up out of sight and you'll be good
