I put a 110x90 on the front, had to raise fender and bend brackets out lust a bit. Am using perrelli "Night Dragons" front an rear,,handles great an seems to be wearing well.
I'm not sure if it was just my bike but the front tire was not in center of forks, why I dunno.Anyways I ended up switching orginal axle spacers from one side to other an that centered wheel.
Does anyone have a problem with the oil tank on rocker.Mine has these hairline cracks in paint.Harley replaced tank but new tank did same thing?? Whats the answer, I don't know
Why change the size when it was designed to perform the best handling with the 90 90 19 it came with ?
Because the original was probably chosen with a certain appearance in mind, and not for handling. Same with the super-skinny 21" front tires on some other models.
2008 Rocker c - both tires were replaced by Dunlop under warranty at 12000 km - 7464 miles due to severe cupping and a design flaw as advised by Dunlop Customer Service Dept in Buffalo NY - replacement Dunlops now have 7600 km and am told need to be replaced by Kane's HD in Kelowna- new and improved Dunlop tires wore 37% faster!
what options do I have as not going back to Dunlop
That's weird...I run dunlops front and rear with no issues at all. Seem to get the same mileage with metz but dunlops way less expensive and great in the rain.
Whatever, stay away from veerubber 260-35-18...I had one delaminated...very scary...
