No, this is a situation that I need someone that has a parts catologs to look it up for me.
Just ordered one from surdyke yesterday but hope you get an answer before I get the parts manual. lol
I just got the stainless splash guard in but I'm not sure I'm going to like it. With my black lower fender paint the stock splash guard looks more like the fender is extended. Im curious what this flat piece will look like. I am thinking it's going to make the fender looker shorter. I'll have to wait until I get things back together before I decide.

Thanks
Ya, I think that one will make it look shorter and you will have a noticeable gap between the wheel and frame too. That one just goes flat against the Swingarm right?

Yeah, it goes flat against the SA. I'm not real crazy about it and thinking it's going to do just what you said and make the fender look shorter which isn't what I want. I tried to cancel before it shipped but surdyke wouldn't cancel my damn order so they could get their 17% restocking fee. It wasn't there fault though, it was one of my stupid impulse buys. I'll hang on to it first and find someone that wants it...lol
Agree, it'd be worth a shot and I think it would look good paint matched. Your other thread about paint is what got me to thinking I was fortunate because of my lower black fender paint. Unfortunately, it was to late to cancel my wasted $43 on this flat piece of metal. lol Just another one of those mistakes when you rush and do something not in the plan!
That's why I put off my spur of the moment thought of custom paint the other morning. lol Glad I took a few breathes before I finished boxing the tins and shipping them off! My original plan before paint is to collect used tins so I can keep my originals, so luckily I talked myself out of it - for now. I've got to put the brakes on this impulsive mind set I've developed since coming to HDF and slow down.
