Getting ready to change over to the TTS Master Tune myself. The TMax has been good for my purpose, but is a bit limited in that it only works against the target AFR which is set in whatever base map you've selected to start with, and doesn't take into account the load factor... in essence it is 2D vs 3D mapping.
From what I've been able to derive based on some of the technical forums, those who are extremely knowledgable seem to prefer the Delphi ECM coupled with the TTS as the tuner of choice.
As stated previously, a real good approach is to pick your tuner, then get the tuning device that they prefer to work with.
I have the TTS and love it. One thing is for sure, it's alot more user friendly than it looks like on the surface. I read a ton of stuff on here before I bought it, and almost talked myself out of it. Since I've had it I have learned it and find it easy to use. With that being said, I think the Power Vision is also good and maybe better in some ways, but from what I have heard it's a tiny more limited.
greenhornet, what year is your nt? did you notice a difference with tts. what mods do you have besides tts? I have an 06 standard and was thinking of getting a tts.
who knows of a good tuner in northern, ind using the tts
If you cant find one and are set on TTS then head North a few hours and hit up Detroit Mortorcycle. Their dyno tunes are spot on. When its done the tuner will go through the graph with you and show you the AFR across the whole RPM band, power/tq curves...etc
