Thank you for all the feedback. I was leaning towards the '09 to begin with. The '06 is a great bike and the seller is a great guy, but I am worried I will regret not purchasing the '09 later down the road. I will defiantly post some pics when I get the bike home!
Both are great bikes. I have looked at the '06 and it has countless upgrades (all HD parts to include the front and back chrome wheels). It is black with black ghost flames. It has enough chrome (exhaust and rims) to avoid the over-bearing blackout look. It has 6,500 miles.. Seller is firm at 10k.
The '09 I haven't seen personally.. just pics. Seller was out of town so didn't see it this weekend. It has flat black paint, and also has the V&H long shots (black) that I like. The bike has only 1,600 miles.. I believe I have the seller down to the low 12k's if not 12k flat.
Both are great prices, the '09 has the 6 speed tranny, which I think is almost a necessity with a balanced motor, but the denim finish is played out & tiresome to me. I would get bored just looking at it.
Get the one you can afford. I wanted a Train so bad and didn't have the bread to back it up until I found my 04 with 5k miles. Paid $8k cash in July. No bike payment and loving it!
