I liked the stock width so had my BR bars made to the same width.
(28" ring finger to ring finger)
I sit upright now instead of reaching forward for the bars.
I was going for comfort and a different look than everyone else had for my bars.

Since you are changing your riding position, it takes a few miles after the change to adjust. Then it seemed natural and more comfortable for me.

Opinions vary greatly on this topic. Some guys love them while others hate them. Me, personaly..... I love them. Try it. If you like it, you will never go back to standard bars. I think they are alot more compfortable. I don't take to many long trips, ( usualy ride about 3 or 4 hours), So I can't testify on that, but I'm sure others can.

I have the regular bars on my Rocker, but HD has an ape and a straight bar that bolt on to the Rocker. Only 1 size though, looked ok. I saw it in one of the catalogs they gave me. The convenience of bolting it right on makes it interesting.
