I'm trying to decide which drag bars to put on my standard. Anybody have pics and details of what they used? I think I want a set of the "t" style bars instead of having seperate risers. I've been looking at the ones in J&P. I see they have 6", 8", and 10" rise. I know someone out there can help me. Thanks. And by the way, did you have to change your wiring or cables?
I used the wild1 501 bars. They have a 8" rise. Here is the link to some pics on their site http://www.wild1inc.com/wo500a.html I did not have to lengthen the wires or cables. I don't have pics of my bike yet. I ordered mine through www.cyclespot.com and got a great deal.
I have these. Hand position is very similar to stock but it straightens your wrist and lets you sit back a little more. I've put about 1000 miles on the bike since adding them and like them a lot. Stock cables and wiring. Had to reroute the clutch and brake cable. Sig is the only pic I have at the moment. A member named JLOCKHART29 has the same bars on his standard and he has more pics in his gallery - HERE. And I second the endorsement of Cyclespot.com great prices and fast shipping. I had mine in 3-4 days.
