thank you sir. i see you ran the hoka hey im sure that was an experience....ive been looking up stories online about it and videos and pictures and stuff it looks awesome. id be lying if i didnt say their patches and stuff look pretty awesome.
Hoka Hey patches look fine but they are kinda pricey!
How does that attach to the bars? Do the straps hold it to the bars? I am heading to Daytona in March, and it is 1400 miles for me. I am not using a windscreen, and I will probably buy one of these.
i just used leather laces and cut them to size. the way the harnes is its basically two belts connected by another leather strap. that sounds confusing im sure and dont realyl have a picture of it, but i just tied the laces in two spots on the piece connecting the two belts together on the bottom of the bars.
WHAT?? Take chrome and black it out?? That is blasphemy!! Naw, just kiddin from an old chrome ***** is all! I like the bed roll deal/look! I can't count how many times I was out and wished I had a blanket or pillow! If and when I start my travels I will have something nice out front there just like that and for that very reason. I was also glad to read it breaks the wind up a bit because even though I have 2 of them, I don't like windshields on my bike or in front of me like that either. I have pulled up under a many bridges and napped, wished I had had a blanket each and everytime I did it too! I think it's a great addition to a bike and a great idea too!
You were bored & strapping a bedroll to your bike was all you could find to do? Been watchin' too many reruns of "Then Came Bronson"?
Man; it must really be wintertime NOW up there!
indiana weather sucks haha like one day this week its supposed to be about 55 degrees which is awesome but ill be at work all day that day. then i have a day off friday and its going to be in the 30's. if my truck breaks down im taking that as a sign that i need to move somehwere i can ride year round.

thank you, yea im excited to try it. i know its not going to block wind but just cutting it a little bit at highway speeds and re directing it would be nice. my buddy has a windshield and we always give him hell for it even though we know that hes not getting smacked in the face all the time haha.
well i got to take the bike out today after work and i have to say the bedroll actually does help some. usually with the apes im getting all the wind right at my belly all the way up to my face. im a big boy so i know thats part of the reason for the extra wind resistance haha. but with this thing im catching wind just below my shoulders and up. it feels alot better actually. im 6 foot 2 so im taller also, but it seems to be pretty nice.
