Default Aux lights - foam inserts

My Aux light project is progressing nicely. I am going to be installing the LED lamps soon. While going through the parts I came across four strips of peel & stick foam rubber. Unfortunately the instructions don't list them let alone say what they are for or where they should be installed. I think they may go on the trim ring, but I am not sure.

Anyone know?

Yep, at least in the case of the visor trim rings. Mine came with them too. They were in the instructions for just the visor trim ring kit, might not be in the instructions for the whole aux kit. They are used to make sure the trim rings have a nice snug fit and are sealed. The gap goes to the top. Part B

I added the apc led passing lights to my Sg after getting the led headlamp. I didn't realize what a difference the led passing lamps would make with the led headlamp. Night driving is unbelieveable. I noticed my lamps barely fit in the sockets and the trim rings are more snug than stock. Nothing wrong, just a tight-a$$ fit.
