A foot clutch I could do...This thing looks dangerous...can you imagine trying to slip the clutch,with one hand on the bars, riding through gravel ....don't think so

I'm going to get rid of my central heating when I get home & put back open fires! Just so I can have all the hassle & it still not warm me up as much???

Stop & go traffic would be a major PITA as well. You can also forget any speed shifting or quick launches off the line. Actually any starts from a dead stop would have to be pretty gentle with only hand hand on the bars. It would be a great option for somebody disabled riding a trike, but I certainly wouldn't want one for my bike.
Also called a Suicide Shifter. For the hardcore old school mindset. Personally I think they are bad ***, but it would be a pain in the *** to have to ride all the time. To me, it's more of a show bike gimmick to make the bike stand out. You can ride it to the show or ride it from where you parked the trailer to where you are showing it.
