Just picked up my 2011 Blackline 04 days ago from the showroom add would like to add it into the Blackline group, and share with you all the list of plans I have install for it.

Performance Upgrade:

Once the V&H's arrive

V&Hs Pipes Big Radius 2 into 2 (On the way )
Screaming eagle stage 1 upgrade
Screaming Eagle 204 Cam Kit ( Dont know if its worth it - Confused )
EFI – Super Tuner (Screaming Eagle Pro)
Stage 1 – Air Cleaner (Black)

Future List:

Ape Hangers ( So far leaning towards the RSD 16" Apes)
Custom Rear Fender (Still debating between 200 or 250 or keeping the current set up as its kind of growing on me )
Wide Rear Tire and New Rim (Going for thick spoked look once I find them)
Front Wheel and New Rim (Going for thick spoked look once I find them)
Custom Front fender (Still looking)
Custom Paint (Will match the tank theme)
H.D Engine oil cooler (When Im ready )

sounds like a good list of mods. does rsd make bars that fit the black line yet? or you planning on custom fab them?

 

Well I have seen other Blackline owners instal 4" risers and then fit the bars of there choice. The speedo is slightly covered which is not a big deal for me as it only covers the 50 - 70 reading. I have also seen a relocation bracket which could be another way to go. Or go down the other route and custom fab them like XjayX and others have done. So still scratching my head what to do.

I actually like the APEs I wonder how long will I have to wait for them, plus anyone have any idea's for ABS brake extension cables?

 

Ok just ordered the Arlen Ness 3 in. Forward Control Extension Kit from denis kirk lets hope its worth it

 

Looks sweet! Blackline is one of them bikes that look custom right out of the factory. Keep us posted with future pics

 

Will keep updating as I go along, just got back from a custom bike shop here and I am going for Custom build Ape's so once that's complete I will post the pics ups during the build and the final outcome with them on.

As for other mods, I have decided to go for white walls and new 120 fat rims once I find the right ones. So that's going under my future mods list

Still in debate of the rear as it growing on me day by day So ill take my time and see how it ends up
