I think I'm getting old!
Harley of Jamestown gave me a Street Bob loaner when they didn't finish servicing my bike one night, and I discovered two things. I love windshields and I hate Street Bob's with mid pegs...
I've actually been running that thing for four years now.
I can't do without it...
If you like the look of the Demons Cycle bars better than the HCC then you should check out Road 6 Customs. I had a set of 8" on mine. They were good bars and the service was good. http://stores.ebay.com/ROAD-6-CUSTOM...=p4634.c0.m322
I dunno; I think Trains look best with drags. EVERYBODY'S got apes nowadays. Too "trendy" for my taste. I'd leave it--it looks great just like that! But that's me. Just sayin'. IMHO.

It might seem as if everybody has apes, but based on what I actually see on the road (as opposed to what I see on here) it is just REALLY false.

I agree. I have a bunch of buddies who ride and can only think of 1 with apes. I cannot lie, I do love the look but mostly I like them because I have a bad shoulder and it is more comfortable for me. Also I can see my mirrors better
I have been looking at bars alot lately. I was thinking of going with apes on my new Lo, and both Carlini and Wild 1 Chubby's have some very nice bars. I think the my springer will be the one to get apes first, and it will be one of those two companies that I will go with.
Man that is definitely one FatBoy looking Train..Did you check the VIN to be sure? As far as the bars go if you change to apes the next thing you would have to get is a springer front end. Not a big fan of apes on a fatboy(FRONTEND). But that IMO.
