Default Preparing for Daytona Bike Week, Preparing Wet Weather and Tool Bag

Ok, Daytona is approaching and me and some army buddies are headed down. Trying to get ideas on different types of wet weather gear people and a fairly inexpensive compact tool kit that I should take on the ride.

Appreciate it!

the harley raingear is pretty good and hi-vis.. waterproof boots and gloves. full face or modular helmet. get a windshield of some sort. stop and gear up before it rains. if it looks like it is fixing to pour down---it probably will.
split the tool kit between all riders...no one will have to give up much storage space that way.
it was damn cold last year at night. prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

Yea just installed the detachable windshield, just gonna use it and leave it in the hotel once I get down there. I was looking at the HD rain gear because it was so compact...although it is $120

Why raingear? The water down there is so warm it would be communist to not enjoy it!! As far as a toolbag, you can go into any auto store and usually buy a little roadside for about thirty bucks. Anything with allens and a phillips is good.

Oh believe me, the raid in Daytona would be nice, I'm thinking about the rain through Virginia in March, may be in the 40s-50s....

You need torx bits in your tool kit.
Cruze Tools makes a nice one about half the price of H-D's.
Or for super cheap go with eBay.
Like said before you guys could each bring a few tools each and split the cost.
You might also want to pick up a small tire plug kit and either a mini electric compressor or a mini bicycle hand pump.
