Not sure if this has been posted yet, if so I apologize. I just saw a bunch of new RSD parts online. The have new belt guards, a cap for the gauge side of the tank that has a low fuel light that is programmable, a velocity stack with an optional pre-filter, and a bunch of other stuff. Now, i am not a big RSD nut swinger and I find most of their stuff to be over priced, but I know I have seen some of you guys looking for some of these types of things....just wanted to pass it on. google RSD 2012 kick start......it is the 2012 new product catalog, they just called it kick start, there wasn't a kick starter in there though.....lol
Thanks for the heads up, always like to see new stuff. I have been thinking about the RSD gas caps but I would probably get the dummy on the left and go by odometer. The light is a cool idea but for the cash its a minimal application of technology...even the HD LED caps have full fuel display.
I was thinking about the dummy cap for mine since I wanted to get a blacked out gas cap and gauge set that wasn't Harley's. If the miles remaining counter will still work with RSD's new low fuel light gauge I'll probably be getting one. I like having the miles remaining counter though so if that wouldn't work anymore I'll probably stick with the stock one.
RSD stuff is very cool and made here too. Just a lot of $$ but the quality is there. Just saw a stack on a sporty at a dealer yesterday and it's made very well. Looks great.
I was at the Timonium Bike Show yesterday and Eastern Performance had the gas caps on display along with some of the other stuff....I like the RSD stuff usually good quality..overpriced yeah...but what isn't. The gas caps seemed a little cheesy...just didn't like the quality or the look for what I was doing.

I would imagine the count down would still work, if you read the description of the RSD part, it says the low fuel light is programmable I believe.
