Congrats Can't wait to see what they look like mounted up.
I myself just got off the phone with Greg at Primo. I introduced myself by name when he answered, and he recognized my name by a simple Facebook reply I left on their page ... last Saturday! I knew right then I was considering business with a good company. Very informative, and presented himself and the company very confidently, and professionally. Answered most of my questions for me before I even had the chance to ask.
He gave me a very similar quote as yours for a pair of 18"x3.5" Cali's, rotors, pulley, tires balanced with beads. A sizable chunk of change? Yes. Would I have any qualms spending it for Primo products? Not a doubt in my mind. And when the money comes available, I will be ordering.
He seems like good people. lets hope he comes through with the quality. I'll keep ya posted. good luck on yours too.

To the OP congrats on the purchase, but it seems I am the only one who doesn't care for the billet spoke wheels haha. To each their own.
Thx boss, I agree, to each's own man. my buddy has a set of ride wrights and they look solid. Im sure your will be fine too. Good luck
Those wheels are gonna look incredible. Out of interest, why the 16 rear instead of 18?
No reason imparticular. I am trying to keep the rear end low. Im shooting for a taildragger look and figured the 16 was just a little smaller diameter than the 18.

I could be wrong on this and haven't run the numbers through the calculator, but I think given the low profile 18 tire size, the overall dimension of the stock size 16 and the 18 with low profile tire are pretty close to same overall dimension.

This is true Stephen (Ice Cold Deluxe) a member here ran the numbers. He has not been active for a while though. There was a thread with what he came up with. I will try to find it. If memory serves me correct it only came out to like a 1/4 " higher in the rear.
It all depends on what you like (more wheel 18 )or (more WW 16). The extra 1/4 " actually helps me out with the 39 Cholos . It the difference between scraping and that was close lol.

With the 16 or 18 rear, that's what I thought was the primary difference, the amount of visible spoke. One other consideration is the width of the white which is going to be of course significantly less on the 18" and to be exact, the DB WW is only 1 3/16" wide.
I've got the numbers at home and will post them when I get home later, just couldn't remember them right off hand and thought I'd that info out there for now.
