Nice setup Trooper. I may go that way. I notice you have covered the four nuts that hold the handlebar. Is there a part number for them?

I prefer the 'in your face' mini tach, you don't have to look down to see it.

Yes, I installed it myself and it was very easy. One caveat. You WILL want a trusted assistance to hold the dash for you during a few steps in the install so you don't scratch your tank while performing the swap. Scratching the tank would be a real danger without some help. My wife assisted me.
That looks great trooper. I've thought about doing that mod for my Fatboy. Its even more tempting now that your saying its easy to install.

Trooper, Did you retain the clock feature on the odometer when you installed the new tach/speedo?

If I recall I used the HotToppers on mine.

I can't speak for Trooper, but I installed that tach/speedo comb on my '07 Heritage and returned it. I lost the clock, and the odometer display stays on all the time, even when the ignition switch is off. This is after the dealer called HD tech support and ask them if I would lose any '07 features. They assured us that I wouldn't. When we called them back and informed them of the results, they said, "Huh! Return it". I did and then installed the clamp mounted one.

Thanks, Waltman. No, they were just some "no name" covers my local H-D dealer had available.

I never used the speedo clock (I have the H-D chrome stick-on clock for the front master cylinder installed) and I see the constant odometer reading as a plus, not a minus. Plus, as I stated before, I LOVE the color-matching feature mine has (you can also get it without this feature for $50 less).

Harley part #94834-02
fits the 07 Fatboy. I found this out by trial & error
