Thats a pretty good price, depending on shipping costs of course.
I purchased mine thru that "other" online HD dealer thats known to
be slow... Mine was $317.62 and shipping was $25.41 for a total
of $346.03. The hard part was the waiting for 3 weeks to show up. :\

I may have to give newcastle a shot on any other parts I want to order.
Let us know how it turns out...

thanks,

T.

Anyone seen custom paint on a slim yet? Also does anyone have a "go to" cam for the slim?

I haven't seen any custom paint yet, but as for a cam, there's a
guy on the forums from Northwest Arkansas that says the SE255
turns the Slim into a "stump puller". Since I usually ride 2-up, that
sounds like a cam I should consider - when I get to that point in my mods

good luck,

T.

I don't think ordering a limited paint scheme is something I'd consider a custom scheme. I've been considering an old style AMF scheme by Scott at Chemical Candy.

Ok so it won't be technically "custom" as I said. It will be custom to be though. Lol regardless there won't be many slims around like it if any.but anyways...... Any cam recommendations from anyone?

Yes, when I bought mine towards the end of summer last year, my dealer had already done at least two customised Slim's.
I posted some photos of it at the time, but I'll repost them here.

Opinion on bars. I'm thinking of either going with Biltwell Breezer or RSD Prostep 6.5". I want a little higher bar, a little narrower width and something aggressive but relaxed. Any other opinions on what to look at?
