Cheap mod for a Fatbob fender taillight setup
Not a big fan of the stock softail bobbed fender light, the Tri-bar light is sick however it comes with a hefty price tag. Here's my mod. Took a Fatbob taillight(bikers choice) $20 bucks online. Modified the OEM taillight bracket to fit. Used VHT night shades to tint the lens. Purchased 2 LED lights for the turn signals which are super cheap (in the process of making a new one with 12 led lights-(6 for each turn) for a brighter signal) Bike has to led compatible with either a flasher or in some cases a load equalizer. You can get an equalizer/flasher for relatively cheap online. For around $35 bucks and a little time it defiantly gives the Softail a cleaner look without the $250+ price tag. Just figured I'd post for those who can't fork over the hefty price tag. If you want more details on how to do your own let me know. It's pretty simple.

It's a stock bulb. You could buy a stock style LED bulb and I'm sure it would brighten up. Its bright enough for me. If your asking about the turn signals there not the brightest but I'm working on those now.
