I've got a '92 FXSTC and I'm looking for a one piece dash panel. I've done way too much searching on this and I've found everything but the earlier dash panels. I believe is was Milwaukee Twins that made a one piece long panel, but can't seem to find it anymore. I just got my tins painted and I want to do the dash once.
I've seen the Washington Choppers panel that eliminates the the speedo housing altogether, but I don't really want to go that route. Also, I'm not a fan of the only one I can find which is the Inferno dash. Custom Chrome has a Mirage panel, but I can't seem to find anybody that has them. Not fond of the idea of the ABS plastic dash. There have to be other options I just can't find.
I have a '99 FXSTC and am looking for the same thing with no luck. I'm thinking that a custom shop using fat bob tanks would be able to accommodate but that it would be expensive. Please post if you find something. (It was Milwaukee Iron that made them but they seem to be out of commission.)
I've got a Milwaukee iron, DD custom cycles makes some and gives you options to keep or delete warning lights, ignition, and speedo but they're not cheap
I would up getting the Willie G Skull leather tank panel for a '00 and newer. I trimmed the top a bit and used it's screw hole in the original spot. It worked out pretty good.
Not a lot of options other than stock for your bike...all the good stuff is made for the newer bikes. The "ABS" dash can also be found in cast metal...but they must be drying up..there are none on ebay right now. The only other viable option is to get a used road king dash off ebay, and put one of the billet covers on it...Ness, Joker, etc have some nice looking ones. I have a knucklehead skull dash on mine...had to modify the base to make it fit.
