Love the seat setup... loved that seat when it came out. I was hoping that HD would come out with one in distress brown, but no such luck. I emailed them to try to see if they were thinking about it, but just got the corporate/marketing speech of not being able to share any new product direction... I might have to give in an order the installation kit to go with the seat that I took off my 48.
On the exhaust, what change did you notice on the sound? Much louder?? Or still civilized? I wonder if I am better off finding some baffle inserts and replacing the ones in my stock units... I do not want to make it too loud but would like it to bark a little bit louder...and I do like the looks of the stock black pipes on this bike.
Cheers!

If I had to do anything else, I would replace the plastic fender in front of the rear wheel, but with what I don't know

The exhaust noise went up slightly from stock during idle, but when moving through the gears it gets louder and has more of a deeper growl than stock. Make no mistake though, these aren't your traditional aftermarket set of pipes. The sound is very rich but in terms of loudness I would say they sound like they would be just a tad on the side of illegal, if that makes any sense.
Now, I used to love me some loud pipes (the last four bikes I've owned had exhaust made for "track days" only), but for this bike I've purposefully went with an exhaust that would keep me legal, but would still have the potential to upgrade the performance from stock. I'm actually waiting on a Power Vision in the mail
Without question my Slim is/was one superfine ride.
I'll diffidently remember the enjoymentit provide me.
Yes, I traded it in on a 2016 FLSTC. No room or $$$
to keep them both.
