Default Dragon scraping

Has anybody here done the Dragon etc, with a lowered bike like the Lo or deluxe, Was it constant scraping. I am thinking of getting the longer shocks to help but then my shield will probably be too short.

Well mines not lowered, but I can tell you I left a little metal behind doing the dragon. As far as lowered bikes, I don't think you can have your cake and eat it too.

I did it last year 2 up on a stock Fatboy. You WILL scrape the boards. On her request, I went slow (5-30 mph) and still scraped on a few of those hairpin turns. It was an AWESOME ride.

A friend of mine did it on his Crossbones, I and another friend were planning on doing it this summer or next, but from what I've read from um..everyone.. you ALWAYS scrape your boards on that trip.. and more importantly.. when they say 15mph, you DO 15mph

Rode it on a Heritage and scraped the boards a few times! As long as you don't scrape knees or elbows,it's all good!

I'll have to agree with the 15mph. I was riding 2up so I took my time, while my solo buddies on their batwings were cruising along pretty good. I was glad I was going a little slower when around a blind turn I see a rice rocket coming towards me in my lane passing someone.
