Default Seat re-build

One more question for you guys (and gals) who may know: anyone know of a company that will re-foam a seat? I love the ergonomics of the Heritage Springer seat, but the foam is just too soft for my taste. I'd like a stiffer foam - much like a Corbin or an HD badlander. I do pretty decent leather work, so I'd pull the leather off and put it back on, but I need someone to lay the foam. Ideas?

Thanks.

There is a vendor of the forums that advertises stock seat mods that you can look into but you would be without a seat for a while. It sounds like he can do just about anything you want to a seat including gel insert or memory foam.

I'd look locally, talk with the smaller shops. The benefit in that is you can alway go back to them and open a can of whoop **** if they bunched the padding up in the wrong place. LOL

Just killin time and goofin, bro...waitin on tha darn fedex truck thats running late

Mean City Cycles are the best! http://www.meancitycycles.com

They are very reasonable. Send your seat to them and have it back within a week or so. Customer service is the best!

look up reupholstry shops in your local area they can do any foam you want and usually alot quicker= less downtime. Cheaper beacuse no shipping and you can try it out before you leave the shop to see if you like it

Locally, most towns and cities have good shops that are familiar with this type of work from custom cars to bikes.

we have several even in our small that does seat, 1 specializes in adding gel. might think about that also, thinking it'd firm it up.
