Default Samson Pipe

I found some pipes I am interested in for my build. I am building a softail on a 1998 frame. The part number is S2-439B. J&P Cycles and a couple of other vendors show that these pipes fit a 1995-2006 softail. Others say it is 2007-2011. Which is it? I am confused to say the least.

That part number is for the 2007-2011 year models Softails. The correct part number for your 1998 Softail without O2 sensors is S-439B. The "2" in the Samson number is designating the 18mm O2 sensor ports for the 07-11 year models. I hope this is helpful.
Thank you,
JR
