Thanks for the kind words. I'm really enjoying the bike more with all the personalizing mods. I just did a 300 miler this weekend (pictures of the bike on this thread were taken afterward - of course after the wash!). You guys with your awesome scoots constantly inspire me to "up my game." When I get around to it, I will be internally wiring the bars, but I am in no hurry. Just enjoying riding her now. Thanks again for the compliments.
As promised, I took some pictures of the bike with the Fatboy headlight on its new mount, with the highway bars, and the new air cleaner. I think she finally has the subtle retro features and looks I was going for.
Here is a picture from the right front where you can see the evenness of the headlight and the passing lights, the new highway bar and the new retro air cleaner too:
and one from the left the see the headlight placement and the highway bar:
and another from the right where to can see another view of the improvements:
and one from the front where you can see the headlight alignment. Note: they are evenly aligned on the bottom, just like the old Knuckleheads (what I was going for):
and finally, you can se what I see when riding (big beach bars and headlight):
I think she is looking and running like I want her too. I may get some highway pegs, if I can fins some that have the retro looks I want. We'll see.
Thanks to everyone for their advice and guidance. So many of you have made your bikes so awesome, it has continually inspired me.
