Analog. Works great and was a lot cheaper. Plus, you don't have to hit a button to see the reading.

I have a different take on the analog dipstick. I have replaced 2 within the last 2 years. The dipsticks rubber seals seem to break down after about 8 months or so and become loose and keeps falling on the ground. AT first I thought I was kicking it and making it loose, but that was not it. The dipstick just became loose and would not stay in place.
Went back to the OE dipstick and no more problems. Strange.

I had the digital one... HAD, because someone came along and 'borrowed' it. It sux to spend that amount of money and to be robbed by some a*hole.
On top of that you can't drive off anymore, so I had to take the bus home, get the old dipstick, return and then drive home... Aaaarghhh!

So I'm back to the OEM dipstick, and not planning on investing any more money in it.
