I had to raise my heritage 1" when I put them on, wife sat on the back and they touched the garage floor without even moving! And yes, unbaffled sounds way meaner.

 

Was your bike standatd set up..ie shocks, wheels etc...also I take it they dont interfer with passenger pegs..I ride alot two up with the misses
