Default softail Slider interchangability

Ok Ive searched and searched and keep coming up empty. i bought a softail 41mm wide front end for my 02 FXDL, the swap itself doesnt worry me, but the front end I purchased came from a 99 which had the single piston brake caliper (which i got with the purchase) that being said, if i wanted to stick with the dual piston caliper, is it as easy as changing the sliders? go to a 00 and up slider I cannot find anything that says internally the 99 is the same as the 00 and up, they appear to be but appearances do not put my mind at ease prior to starting a job that is gonna take my scoot down for a few days

can anyone point me in a direction or at least put me at ease on the intercahngeablity of the sliders

Here is a quick link to Ronnie's microfiche. I use it when I need part numbers of to simply compare if a certain year part fits another year. Simply select year and model, pick part and place in cart. You will then be provided with the HD part number.
Cheers!

if its a 41mm tube any slider will fit from a 41 mm front end. def go for then 2000 plus brakes much better and if you really want go for the 08 up front calipers, they center better and dont drag as much. check the hd tech forums for more info, they say they dont retro for ealier years, but I have installed the floating calipers on lesser years and they work just fine.
