Is that for a 17" or greater 200mm tire? Link please.
I've got a FRt and Rear Michelin Commander II awaiting install that got delivered last week from Dennis Kirk, less then $300 for the pair. Got 8500 on the stock Dunlops. I'll get another 1000 before replacing with the Michelins.

So what's the cost of install in your neck of the woods? Looking forward to the feed back on the tire performance and milage down the road as well. In this area, I've yet to get any specific feed back on the tires.
Take a penny and stick it in the tread with Lincoln's head upside down. It the tread is not deep enough to reach the top of his head you need a new tire.

Free for ME, I've got a friend with all the equipment, I'll take them off and throw in some Dyna Beads and Nitrogen. I'll keep y'all posted on the performance of these new Michelin's.

I took mine in to an indy for bearing re packs. He charged me 17.50 to repack both wheels and he put a Metzler 880 on for tire price 129.00. Take the wheel off, it's not that hard!
Changing tires is easy. Three tire irons a pair of rim protectors and about an hour I can have both tires changed and remounted. It takes me longer to sit around waiting for an indy or the dealer to do it and I am much cheaper than they are. I buy spare tires when they are on sale and I never get caught with low tread when I want to put on some more miles.
I only wish I was getting 7K+ on my rears, I'm much too hard on the right wrist to last that long. 5K and they head to the curb.
Just had the rear replaced on mine. Nothin like a little piece of mind! After a few times in he canyons when the rear kicks out, well, that's enough for me!!!!
Cost me about $195 for a Metz.
i have less then 7k on my rear, it is starting to look like a drag slick.. no hint of tread on it.i'm sure it will need replaced this summer sometime, not till i see cords
