I need your guys help in telling me how to mount the Heritage Style Saddlebag http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US
Part number 90876-05. My father has the quick release backrest and needs to know how to mount these saddlebags to his bike (06 FLST). What does the Saddlebag Hardware Kit part #79304-06 look like?
Here is the known problem, the quick release utilizes the last and third bolts from the fender. The saddlebags utilize the third and the second to last bolts. The quick release blocks the second to the last bolt area so that the saddle bag mount would have to somehow by pass that. Either using an extension piece to somehow mount to the last bolt or what????? If I need to post pictures so that you guys understand what I am talking about I will.

I don't have the quick detachable hardware but if you need some pics of the mounting points, I'm sure I can get something posted for ya.
I appreciate it but I need to figure out how to mount it with the quick release sissybar. I love Harley instructions, they act like this is the only thing you are putting on a stock bike. If you have something else on it near the new part, you have to figure out how to do it and then do research on the necessary parts to make it work. Grrrrr.
