My friend bought a 96 Bad Boy that someone had done this to. It had an orange frame and bed liner on the tanks and fenders. had to heat it with a torch to get it to peel off.

Some may not believe it without seeing it, but Harley did a tank with a rought texture and paint on it. How do I know? It's hanging on the tank wall at the museum. Here's a pic of it:

It looks like a lot like the denim paint. I hope it doesnt fade on you. The bed liners here in Texas last a couple years and start fading. Granted they are in the sun and weather a lot more.
