Yes. Pull the tank and pull off your existing rocker box covers. It is a pretty simple job aside from draining the gas from the tank. I am sure that they come with nes gaskets as well. have you seen the RSD contrast cut ones? They are nice too and cost quite a bit less. http://www.rolandsands.com/products/...s-Contrast-Cut
Yeah, i've seen those. but I need them to be chrome, I just took a look at the chrome version of them, I know they are cheaper but not as nice looking, its going to be my next mod, valve cover, matching billet horn cover, and a RSD finned cam cover.
IMO of the three I really like the look of those panhead style covers.
Chap, that timing cover is bad *** and definitely worth the cash, it really changes the look of the motor. I always admired the one Drew had, nice piece.
As mentioned elsewhere on here I have ordered these Covington Valve covers, also the RSD finned cam cover, I know these items arent cheap and I wasnt going to spend any more for a while but these have been calling me, I've wanted the cam cover since last year, but when I saw these valve covers I just had to have them, I think they going to change the whole look of the motor.
I dont have a manual, so can the more mechanically inclined guys tell me, if I take the cam cover off, is there any oil behind it. or can it be swapped without dropping the oil.
