1st off. I went and bought a set with brackets & can't figure out how the left bracket mounts to the bike.... From what I can see I'm missing a part, but can't get with the dealer for a couple of days, and I was hoping to do these projects over the weekend.
Does any one out there have a Fatboy with passenger floorboards that can postseveral good up-close picts, so I can see how both sides mount to the bike??? I have no instructions and can't figure it out. I'm no stranger to turning a wrench, but this one has me a bit stumped....
I'm starting to think that passenger boards are a mistake, cause I don't like the way they hang over the pipes and they stick out pretty far...
Until I get them mounted I'll never know!
my fatboy is a 2005 anniversary.they are easy to mount and should just bolt on two side bolts if i remember.if the ones you have don,t match, don,t use
them.after being mounted the should move up and down freely.i,m at sea right now,i would take pics to show you.
I cant remember for sure but I looked into this a while ago and it seems you have to get an adapter for the Fatboy... you might check the HD site and see if they have that kit listed, im pretty ssure about that.
