Fuelpak Map missing modes?
I noticed your bike is an 09. You are probably ready for a new battery.
If so, you should look into the Lithium batterys. They cost about $50 more than an OEM battery, but they don't need trickle charging during storage, are supposed to last twice as long, are half the size and would give you plenty of extra room in the battery compartment to put the FuelPak and other stuff in there.
Here's a site for them:

12 Cell EVO2 Negative Terminal Location: Right
12 Cell EVO2 L Negative Terminal Location: Left

Typical Applications: 1000cc and over multi-cylinder motorcycles, metric cruisers, stock Sportsters, Softails, Dynas, large scooters, side by sides, jetskis and large ATV’s.
Battery Application Chart
12 Cell EVO2 (100-012) - $189.99
I also took an old tire tube and cut it to legnth and slipped it over the FuelPak to add a little protection to it when I had mine tightly stuffed under the seat.
