That is for sure. The HD bags would not look good on that ride. Not to mention they are too small. Lots of choices for good quality bags. I choose Leatherworks bags made for the Deluxe model.

I really liked the paint job and was going to order a paint set for my own deluxe. I am guessing I am too late. Lancaster Harley has a bike for sale with the paint set on it and a lot of chrome extras. They want 22,000 for it.

That paint set is now unavailable.

The bags that HD makes for the Softail are small but I don't want them sticking out too far.

It would be sinful to cover any of that paint with bags or anything. Just my 2 cents

that is what a lot of people say but I do a LOT of traveling and need the bag but will have to quick release so when I am sporting around town.

I think so far I like that paint set the best of all the customones (besides the 2-tone) for the Deluxe. Very sweet looking ride.....

As for the bags just go quick-release on everything....I can strip mine downin under a minute and leave the bags at home if I want.
