I was wondering if anyone knowds if a aftermarket wheel for a 99 softail would bolt directly to my 06 fxst (including spacer thickness) etc. I see tons of 18" wheels for 96-99 softails and was wondering if the axel diameter is bigger or smaller and would the spacer be the same.
Not only are the axles different, the 99 and earlier wheelshave tapered bearings that require regular maintance (repacking with grease), and the 00 and later have sealed bearings.
