I have these... I had a pair of BR's on a Dyna I used to own and I thought they were loud and tinny sounding.
The Straightshots (with quiet baffles) are not as loud and have a much deeper tone than the BRs. They also cost a lot less than the BRs.
Like your straight shots. My 2012 is getting the Big Radius and Stage 1 AC installed today. Hope they are not too loud or tinny. Where is your license plate?
Hdfatboylo,
I have the straight shots w/original bct baffles on my heritage. Thinking about switching to big radius. Do u think they are louder then the straight shots if I add the bct original baffles?
I have them also and I love them. I feel that they are perfect not to quiet and not to loud. When your just cruising its pretty mellow, but when you get on it OMG they come alive...sound amazing
I have a fatboy lo and I have been thinking about the BR 2 into 2 because I thought they looked incredible the first time I saw them. However, after looking around a bit, I do agree that they are EVERYWHERE!! As an alternative, I have been thinking about the BR 2 into 1. I think it has a great look as well, but not nearly as popular as 2 into 2.
I haven't heard 2 into 1 pipes. Do they have the "tinny" sound that the 2 into 2 pipes allegedly do? How about low end torque?

I have a license plate bracket that is flush with the rear fender. I got it from hogrider? From this site.

The big radius pipes are definitley louder and more high pitched than the straight shots.
I have them, I like them alot. Mine sound great but sometimes too loud lol and i do not see many people where i live with them so works out good for me!
Your probably glad that I don't live in your neighbourhood. Same year bike/model/colour, pipes, and fak we joined this forum on the month/year, HAHA!!
