We file separate, so it's all mine. I just have to let her spend too, which is always too much. Problem is I'll need new tires for the car soon and that's where I'll run into problems.

I work from home. I jokingly tell my wife I'm a logistics guy too, taking care of all the UPS packages. Bottom line, I've bought stuff she doesn't know about, at least at first...

My concern is this. I'm the responsible one with the money, and I have to take into account what she is doing that I don't know about until too late.

You got to go about this from a womans point of view. Here goes tell her it normally would cost 3x the real price and then tell her you found this incredible deal and it is 60% off list price and you could not pass up this once in a lifetime deal. Woman rationalize spending by how much they save so she will think you made a good choice. And if she ever finds out how much they really cost blame the forum say we told you it was a good deal
