Anyone know what is the widest real wheel rim, that can be run on a stock Softail?
Stock is 3 1/2"
'07 and up have the wider swingarm which can run a 200mm tire. It looks like you can get a 6.25" rim on those according to this fitment chart. Depends on your fender too, obviously. Heritage/Deluxe 4.25. Fatboy 6.25. There's a note on the Rocker for 8.5".

I did all sorts of Google searches before posting this thread and didn't come up with anything so I really appreciate your help. It's not the news I was hoping for but . . . . better than buying something that I wouldn't be able to use on the bike.
