JakesDad1, I take it you welded a bracket on the right side of the swingarm. What thickness bracket did you use? I'm fabbing up a sissy bar for mine and am trying to decide if I should go that route, or axle mount.
+1 on thread hijacking. Didn't mean to do that.
To the OP, I looked all over for a sissy bar, but not being able to find a bolt on that was set up the way I wanted, so I have to fabricate one. Don't know your comfort level with that, but I used 1/2" round stock, heated it up, put it in the vice and start bending.
Hey guys, its ok with me to hi-jack this thread lol......I recently purchased a 93 FXSTC and it has brackets mounted on the fender struts where a sissy-bar goes and the bolt holes are stright up from the bottom. I cant seem to find this style of sissy-bar anywhere! Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks for your responses!!
