Default Quick Release Windshield on Deuce

I just moutnted the H-D quick release windshield on my Deuce. Easy on-off and it looks really good. Unfortunately,it creates some annoying buffeting to the upper portion of my helmet at around 45 MPH or more. I'm 6'3" tall and I've done a search on the topic. The searchprovided a few ideas to deal with the turbulence, icluding the suggestion of installing lower wind deflectors. Have any of you ever installed Memphis Shades lowers to counter turbulence like I've described. If so, what results did you achieve. Was it worth the $$$ to do so?

Thanks for your help!

I'm only 5'7" and I don't have any wind buffeting at speeds up to 60mph, haven't gone much faster than that with the windshield on yet........

I have the same winshield and the same problem. I usually do not have the windshield on unless it might rain or going more than 100 miles or so. What I did (which was by mistake) wasput a fork bag under the headlight for cigs, and sunglasses. I did help a little bit and looks better than fork wings.
