Default 01 Night train running wrong

guys I need some advice. I have a 2001 night train I parked it for the winter and left the gas in it and now is running ruff. I drained the gas put new plugs in it and when I take it down the road it runs but once I hit a certain rpm it boggeds down on me and goes to stall out.

If it is a carb bike, maybe you have a plugged main jet.

When I got my Fatty 4 years ago, it had been sitting in the guy's garage for awhile. it ran like crap-a-roo until I ran some new gas through it, then it gradually improved till it was running perfectly.

Some fuel treatment with carb/injector cleaner should solve that.

Take the carb off, break it down, and clean it. It's not that hard at all. You might find that one of the diaframs is torn (main slide, and acceleration pump), or you might have a vac tube plug with a crack or hole in it. While your at it, take out the petcock and clean it out real good. Your carb is 11 years old.. Freshen her up with some new screws, diaframs, springs, jets, and gaskets (including the rubber ones on the intake manifold).

She will be very happy with you after... I guarantee it.
