Anyone think HD will bring back the night train? It didnt make a lot of sense for them to cease production right in the middle of the "black out" craze that's going on. I'd think it'd be a great member of the "dark custom" line. I know they got this new "Blackline" out now.. and I guess it's similar, but it's definitely not the same.
I doubt it. I lost hope when the Blackline came out and even though it's a pretty badass ride, it's still not the same. Wtf kind of handlebars are on it anyway? :\
There's an '09 at Sac Harley with like 300 miles on it. Dark red and beautiful. I love FXST/Night Train bikes, think they're the best looking bikes Harley has made in the last 20 years. Unfortunately we are in the middle of a fat-*** dresser craze so lean, lean bikes are out. Closest you can get is a Dyna with the wiggly engine...
Also agree with what most others are saying here. What HD has been re-introducing has been nothing like what they discontinued. I would say the Night Train as we knew it is gone for good.
I must be the odd ball here because I think they nailed the new Wide Glide. So much so that I purchased one. I never gave the old Wide Glides a second look but I love the new ones.
However I'm a huge fan of the Night Trains but I'll find a used 2007-2009 eventually and they'd have to really nail them if they re-introduced them. I doubt they would so I'll continue looking for a used one.
