Need help picking out new tires for a Night Train.
So I need to pick up some new tires for my new wheels for my Night Train. I still have a 17 x 9 rear wheel but got a 21 x 3.5 for the front wheel. I was looking at the Dunlop Elite 3 but I am being told that they are hard to get right now. So I am looking for some feedback on the different tire companies and series that everyone likes and even dislikes and why. I hope your feedback will help me make the right choice on the tires. Overall I want a tire that will handle really good in the corners and a nice thread pattern. Not to worried about the mileage life. Thanks everyone.
Just got this season the perelli night dragon, great ride and much softer ride than the dunlop and the rear 200-17 was only 165...that is my new tire, good enough for high end sports cars good enough for my train
I had the stock Dunlops, a few Metzlers, and now the Avon Cobra's. I like the Avons the best, cool tread, great handling, and a bit more mileage than the Metzlers.
I am swapping out some things and going for a perilli scorpion a/t tire. Only because I really dig the look of the trail pattern on an otherwise street rider. Totally pointless and will jack my handling all up but meh... I don't care.
