Default 07 to 09 Svc Manual

Anyone know if there are major differences between the 07 and 09 manuals? Which really means, of course, differences in specs, etc. between the two years. We have a manual for my g/f's 07 and I'm figuring it should tell me most of what I need to know for my 09. Not opposed to buying another if needed but we already stock more service and parts manuals in the house than the local dealership does, so if I can save a few bucks I'd like to.

I know the swing arms are different from the two years and I think the 07s have the 3/4" axles and the 09s have the 1" also. other then that I don't think there is a whole lot of change. Hope this helps, Mike

Thanks, Mike. Axle size won't affect procedures. I'll take a close look at the swing arms and see if I can spot the changes. Knowing they're different should let me use the old manual and adapt as needed.

Much appreciated.

I downloaded a Service Manual and Diagnostics Manual for free, but can't find an Owner's Manual anywhere to download. Granted, it would be better to have the actual manuals already printed out, but it works.

Only thing I can think of that I've read about being diff was the axle size and what every they did that was supposed to help the 5th gear whine in the tranny, "?" on what that was.

So IMO the 07 manual would prob be 98% accurate.

found this, its a little info..

Used my 07 manual to work on a friends 09 Rocker C. Didnt encounter anything that was different, though I realise I didnt deal with it in entirety. But even wiring diagrams were same.
