Default Update

Just a quick update for those that chimed in on my little problem with the loose spokes and my dealer experience last Saturday. Before I forget to add, thanks for your comments and advice.

I chose the route of sending the service manager a sincere email regarding the bike problem and the service shortfall.
Without the boring details, I felt he was completely honest with me regarding the rear wheel spoke issue as well as admitting that his department let me down by not getting me back on the road the same day, not to mention stranding me 35 miles from home.
He and the dealership did not give away the farm to me, but they made me happy with a very fair deal on my stage 1 upgrade, and a sincere effort to keep my business with fantastic customer service in getting all the work done and the bike delivered to me by the time I got back in town on Friday. In that I'm not a wrench, I really DO want a good relationship with a service department. These guys have earned another shot at keeping me. Not trying to bullshit me after the fact and then coming thru was the solution
By the way, my set up is now the V&H Big Shot exhaust, SE AC, and SERT. The DYNO sheet says 92.21 Torque and 77 HP. Damn, it sounds good and drives great too!

For those with new laced wheels that have not experienced issues yet, do yourself a huge favor and get them serviced at the 1k mile mark.

Glad to hear they took care of you to an acceptable manner to you. Now, get out there & enjoy your new bike! Sounds like you got a good tune too. Congrats!

Anyone with laced wheels should check them everytime you ride. I clean mine all the time and at least a couple times a week. All you need is a pencil and just run it over the spokes and listen if one is off tune then it's not tight.Glad you got it fixed and they stood up and made you happy. Thats what they should do
