I used the kury one, just mounted it on the right so it would work with the swingarm bag.

I have a kuryakyn one (with the brake light) and I mounted it to the tab that held the belt guard in place. I just took off the clamp that is meant for the swingarm tube. I don't use it anymore if your interested in it.

I got the RSD one. The problem is there is no light for the plate and I also have a requirement for that in my state. I just assumed the RSD one would have a light because of the price. Anyways, it looks pretty good. It mounts to the rear foot peg hole or I had mine mounted to the frame so I could fit my swing arm bag.

I just got the road6 side mount plate and lighted bolts also. Never done any wiring on the bike before and I'm looking for a little help with how you ran the wires for the lights. Thanks for any help anybody has.

All I did was snip the existing plate light wires from the plate bracket. Mine is a Slim and the wires were molded in by some epoxy. I then connected the lighted bolts to the raod6customs bracket. I ran the wires up the swing arm and under the seat. I used some black tie wraps to lock em to the swing arm. I then connected the bolt light wires to the snipped plate wires with some wire nuts. All that got tucked under the seat.
Was very easy really.

I wonder if its possible to mount the road6customs axle plate inside the swing arm instead of outside so you can use chrome swing arm covers?

Thanks for the info. Hopefully I'll get some time to get it done this week.
