Well I just got home from a long out of town work stint, and my seat and 36" Samson Black duals where in the house. I would show yas the pipes, but that will just have to wait....leaving them packed in the box until install. But......
Here is a pic of the new Sanora seat w/ black distressed & gel. I fought off the temptation of going bare bones & C&C solo and wanted to think outside the forum box. This morning I am taking the goods into the shop and will see how the seat looks on the bike (jury is out until then if I like the look). Note...I will probably swap out the conchos later for some custom billets. But that will have to wait until I get the springer bags w/conchos matched first. The reason why I got the skirt on the seat, which I am not much of a fan of...but I want to tie the bags into the seat for looks.
Been looking at tha same seat...like it better than most I looked at. Advantage of the skirt I'm thinkin it will cover a portion of the dipstick and prevent a blow out.
The C&C solo or bare bones on a FB...I found looks a lil fat and loses a bit of it's sleek look due to the 200 rear. Tis why I thought outside the box. I also wanted a low profile rounded seat to give it more old skool.
This seat I rolled the dice with....hopefully it will look great once on the bike and didnt waste the $$.
Looks real good. A helluva lot more comfy lookin than all of our seats thats for sure!
I really like that black too! That'll look great on your ryde!!!!

Ya man I am please how the black distressed leather turned out...wasnt sure what was coming. I expected a more 'worn' look, which would of been fine. But this is better....should go great with black denim. I also got an email from Osprey the other week. They said they have 2 types of black distress leather for their bags. All I have to do is send them a pic and guaranteed to match.
It looks like a big pillow on the bike. I forgot my iphone to take pics. Oh well my first mod screw up.
MIght have to stick with a stock instead. The bare bones or C&C on a 200 just doesn't look right from the pics I seen out there. Maybe modify a regular FB a bit.
Dealership has a couple new FBs and will sell to me close to cost $300....retail $430.
